TradeBill privacy policy

1. Introduction

TradeBill ("the app", "we", "us") is a quoting and invoicing tool for tradespeople. We built it to keep your data in your hands. This policy explains what the app stores, where it lives, and what we can and can't see.

2. Data We Collect and How We Use It

TradeBill does not use third-party advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking technologies. We do not sell your data.

TradeBill may store information you enter, including:

• Business name, trade, phone number, and logo
• Client names, locations, and phone numbers
• Quotes, invoices, line items, pricing, tax, markup, terms, and notes
• Recorded payment information
• Team member names and roles
• Signatures added to documents
• Price book entries
• App settings, onboarding state, free quote usage count, and Pro entitlement state

This data is used only to provide app features such as creating quotes, generating invoices and PDFs, syncing records, reminders, exports, analytics dashboards, and purchase access.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to any third parties.

4. iCloud Sync

If iCloud is enabled, TradeBill may sync your app data using Apple iCloud and CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is associated with your Apple ID. The TradeBill developer does not operate a separate cloud server for this data.

Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

5. Purchases

TradeBill Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. TradeBill receives purchase entitlement information from Apple so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

6. Notifications

TradeBill may ask for notification permission to send local due-date or payment reminder notifications. These reminders are generated by the app on your device.

7. Support Emails

If you contact support, we may receive your email address, message, app version, iOS version, and any details you choose to include. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve support.

8. Sharing And Exports

When you share PDFs, CSV exports, or other documents from TradeBill, the data is handled by the app or service you choose, such as Mail, Messages, Files, or another third-party app.

9. Data Retention And Deletion

Your TradeBill data remains on your device and, if enabled, in iCloud until you delete it from the app, delete the app, or remove the related iCloud data through Apple's settings.
